Bosch in zijn eigen tijd, \nneem dit gevoel mee naar de onze en vertaal de oude taal in het hedendaagse. \nDe essentie van Bosch werk gaat voor mij over de strijd tussen goed en kwaad. \nIn zijn tijd speelde deze strijd zich af in het landschap van het geloof, de kerk en het bijgeloof. \nAngst voor de hel en haar demonen en het goede in engelen en de hemel. \nJheronimus moet die strijd ook in zichzelf gevoeld hebben; Hoe creatief te zijn in een wereld vol geloofsregels? \nIk heb het geloof van toen vervangen door klimaatverandering als het hedendaagse. \nDe strijd van de mensheid tussen goed en kwaad is hetzelfde gebleven. \nDe kerkbel is een noodsignaal geworden. \nOok wij als moderne mensen kennen die strijd dag in dag uit. \nIn een wereld van commercie zijn wij ons bewust van de gevolgen voor onze planeet. \nToch kopen wij elke dag weer plastic in de supermarkt.
